Message from the Principal

Welcome to my principal's page!

My name is Mr. Matthew Fusco, and I am the proud principal of the Veterans' Memorial Elementary School. I am also the principal of the East Gloucester School. Come September, we will be combined into a beautiful state of the art facility which will house both schools. I am so excited for this incredible opportunity for all of us.

I have been a principal for over 15 years and I have been at Veterans' for the last 9 years. I love our little school and all of the incredible things that happen here.

Mission & Vision Statement

Veterans' Memorial School will respect students and respect each other focusing on their strengths and capacities, leading to their high self-esteem. We will strive to meet all of our students' academic, emotional and physical needs in a caring school environment. The Veterans' Memorial School experience will instill in its students a life-long love of learning and such values as honesty, diversity, respect, and compassion for others.
